We offer four types of denture. Your dentist will help you decide which is most suitable.
Valplast (Flexible)
Material: Flexible, medical-grade nylon resin.
Benefits: Lightweight, flexible, and virtually unbreakable. No visible metal clasps — the hooks blend with your gum colour.
Best For: Partial dentures replacing 1 to 3 teeth where aesthetics are a priority.
Cobalt-Chrome
Material: Custom-cast cobalt-chrome metal framework with acrylic teeth.
Benefits: Thinner and stronger than acrylic. Often palate-free design for upper dentures, allowing better taste sensation.
Best For: Patients missing multiple teeth who want a strong, thin, comfortable denture.
Acrylic
Material: Gum-coloured acrylic (plastic) base with resin or ceramic teeth.
Benefits: The most affordable option. Easy to repair and adjust. A new tooth can be added if needed.
Best For: Full dentures, immediate dentures, or when budget is a primary consideration.
Implant-Retained
Concept: 2 to 4 dental implants are placed in the jaw. The denture has attachments that clip onto the implants.
Benefits: Significantly improved stability and chewing function. No adhesive needed. Helps preserve jawbone.
Best For: Patients who want denture security without the movement or looseness of conventional dentures.

Caring for Your Dentures
Proper care will extend the life of your dentures and protect your oral health.
Do
- Remove and rinse dentures after eating
- Brush daily with a soft denture brush and plain water
- Soak overnight in denture cleaning solution
- Remove dentures at night to rest your gums
- Handle over a soft surface in case of drops
- Attend regular dental check-ups
Avoid
- ✕ Regular toothpaste (too abrasive for denture surfaces)
- ✕ Hot or boiling water (can warp the material)
- ✕ Bleach-based cleaners
- ✕ DIY repairs with superglue
- ✕ Very hard or sticky foods
