Invisalign

Invisalign is a groundbreaking brace that perfects smiles with previously unseen levels of discretion, comfort, and convenience. Forget about fixed brackets and wires — Invisalign straightens teeth with removable aligners, custom-made for a perfect fit. Even better, the aligners are completely see-through; you can hardly see them once on.

How does Invisalign work?

You’re provided with a series of clear, custom-made aligners. Each aligner should be worn for two weeks before you move onto the next. The aligners place pressure on your teeth at specific places, which gently moves them further and further into the right position.

You’ll also have regular appointments with us, so we can check everything’s progressing as expected.

Your aligners should be worn for around 20-22 hours each day, which gives you the freedom to remove them for eating, drinking, and cleaning your teeth. With Invisalign, you won’t have to be careful about the types of food you eat — there are no restrictions. And it’s easy to keep your teeth in pristine condition, too.

By the end of your treatment, your smile will be as healthy as it is beautiful.

What issues can be fixed with Invisalign ?

  • Crowded and crooked teeth
  • Gaps between the teeth
  • Overbite — where the upper teeth excessively overlap the lower teeth
  • Underbite — where the lower teeth stick out past the front teeth
  • Open bite — where the upper and lower teeth are forced outwards, not meeting each other
  • Crossbite — where the upper teeth bite on the inside of your the lower teeth

Recent innovations in Invisalign’s design now allow us to treat more complex orthodontic cases. However, severe problems are usually better suited to clear fixed braces.

Likewise, minor smile imperfections can instead be treated with Invisalign Lite or Invisalign i7 — they both work the same way as Invisalign, but are designed to straighten out minor problems with minimal time and money spent.

What are attachments?
